Instruction
1) Mix about 1 gallon of warm water with with a quarter liter of mild dish detergent agent in a bucket
2) Find a small spot on your carpet that is not too visible for people to see to test the solution. Usually, a chlorine-free detergent does not require this step. Its just a precautionary so that the carpet wont be discolored.
3)By using a spray bottle or sponge, carefully apply the solution to the spot but ensure that it is not dripping onto the carpet.
4)Scrub the solution gently by using the sponge or a brush so that it will absorb into the fibers and hopefully the stain will be eliminated.
5)Repeat the above steps onto another spot and wait for it to dry
6)After it has dried, use a stiff-bristled brush to raise the nap and fluff carpet to its former state.
Reminder
1)Scrub the solution from the outside edge of the stain inwards so that the stain will not spread out.
2)Some say that the above solution (dish detergent+warm water) can be replaced by vinegar or salt.
